Navigating the festivi-teas of the Christmas period can be difficult, but we’re here to help you do it one drink at a time!
Whether you’re looking to amp up the Christmas spirit on Christmas Eve, or opting for a perfect brunch drink to add that extra bit of pizzazz – Tipsy Tea can help.
So, why don’t we get started?
Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve is usually a hectic but exciting experience in most households!
From wrapping last-minute presents and adjusting your multiple Christmas decorations, to putting on the festive playlist and looking to properly ‘get into the Christmas spirit’, it’s the perfect time for a tipple.
If you’re looking for Christmas in a glass (think warmth, spice and all things nice), we’d recommend a hot serve of our Spiced Chai.
Combining rich cinnamon, cloves and cardamon, it’s the perfect accompaniment to Christmas Eve traditions and embodies the Christmas spirit perfectly.
Brunch
Christmas day offers one of the few occasions where a cheeky drink before midday is okay, and you should make it a drink that starts off the day with a little bit of excitement.
We’re partial to some fizz with our brunch, and it wouldn’t be Christmas without the staple that is Buck’s Fizz.
If you’re looking for a twist on a classic, though, a spritzer is a wonderful accompaniment.
We’d recommend our warming Root Ginger for this serve, for a kick of ginger with a hint of honey – the perfect balance of sweet and spice.
Christmas Lunch
A few tins of Quality Street (and the inevitable bickering over coconut chocolate), decadent mince pies and walnuts later, you might be fancying a nice accompaniment to your Christmas lunch.
When you’re piling your plate high at the dinner table, your Christmas lunch drink of choice may be dependent on what you’re serving, but we’d recommend sticking with a classic.
A large glass of red never goes amiss, and some traditions shouldn’t be messed with!
After Dinner
The sofa is sinking beneath you as you sit in a food coma…but you’ve still got enough energy for some charades and the last of the Quality Streets (time to tackle the strawberry creams).
It might be time to bring out the Port, especially if the cheese board is coming out!
If Port isn’t your cup of tea, though, why not have a Tipsy Iced Tea instead? Cool and refreshing, it’s the perfect way to finish your Christmas Day.
With a delicate pepperiness and hint of fruit, Pink Peppercorn is a smooth and balanced note to finish on.
(It’s also a little gentler on your food coma-induced state!)
Remember, if you drink responsibly at Christmas, you’ll have plenty left over for New Year! 😉
Cheers!
